Well, it's been about three weeks now, but we moved house and love our new place. It has a gas fire (heating is a disaster in NZ) and a bath (these kiwis love their showers). We were amazed by how much stuff we had acumulated in such a sort space of time, but I am also thinking of all my treasures in boxes in the UK and really want to bring a load of stuff over.
The house felt like home within days and we've had one visit from Adams brother and his family, making use of the 3 bedrooms.
Now it's just a case of waiting for the rain to stop and I'll make a start on the garden.
